About us!

Hannah Kaed is the founder of Buddies Beyond Boundaries, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering inclusion, friendship, and opportunity for individuals with Down syndrome. Inspired by her work in the Buddies Beyond Boundaries club at Santa Margarita Catholic High School—originally founded by Rachel Phillips—Hannah expanded the mission beyond the school campus to reach a broader community. Now serving as both the nonprofit founder and current club president at her school, Hannah leads with heart, purpose, and a vision of a more inclusive world. She’s passionate about creating spaces where everyone feels valued, connected, and empowered to shine.
